DESCRIPTION:The city of Tukwila will have free COVID-19 vaccine and booster clinics at the following dates/times. \nAt Tukwila Library: 14380 Tukwila International Boulevard\, Tukwila 98168 \n\n\n\nTuesday\, March 22 from 8:30am – 12:00pm\n\n\n\nAt the Sullivan Center:14350 Tukwila International Boulevard\, Tukwila 98168 \n\n\n\nSaturday\, March 5 from 10am – 12:30pm\nSaturday\, March 12 from 10am – 12:30pm\nSaturday\, March 19 from 10am – 12:30pm\nSaturday\, March 26 from 10am – 12:30pm\n\n\n\nThose getting their first dose will receive a $50 gift card to Fred Meyer! \nPublic Health—Seattle & King County and their affiliates will be administering the vaccines at no cost\, regardless of insurance\, citizenship or immigration status. Single\, two-dose and booster shots will be available for anyone ages five and older. Medical staff and interpreter services will be on-site to answer questions. \nWalk-ins will be welcome and residents do not need to make a vaccine appointment in advance.

Local stewards need volunteers to help remove invasive plants and protect young native plants. All tools and education will be provided. \nSign up for the Volunteer Restoration Work Party here. \nThe Green Tukwila initiative is a regional collaboration of cities working to steward natural open spaces that the city joined in 2017. The initiative brings together Forterra\, EarthCorps\, Duwamish Alive Coalition\, Dirt Corps\, King County Parks\, and the Tukwila community to care for public parks and natural open spaces across the city. Throughout the next 20 years\, the partnership will work to restore and maintain 138 acres of Tukwila’s urban forest. \nTo do this work\, they need the community’s help! Join friends\, neighbors\, and bring your families outside to learn about trees\, shrubs\, invasive plants\, how to use tools\, and much more. Work parties are being planned for community members and businesses to care for precious urban forests and to ensure healthy\, safe\, and beautiful public spaces to enjoy in the future.
