DESCRIPTION:Join the Museum of Flight as they host a very special Veterans Day Ceremony to honor those who have served in the United States Armed Forces\, past and present. DESCRIPTION:Come support Tukwila Parks and the Green Tukwila Partnership Saturday\, November 19 from 10am – 1pm for their annual Green Tukwila Day! This event will focus on environmental education around healthy forests and rivers. Dig in and help plant an understory bush or shrub that will become a safe place for urban wildlife. \nThis volunteer event will be complete with live music by the BusKings\, a world street jazz group local to the Seattle Metro area. \nVolunteers and non-volunteers alike can also stop by Green Tukwila Day for the city’s 2022 Tree Giveaway and pick up any pre-ordered trees the city is giving away to residents. \nNo experience is necessary to come lend a hand. Tools\, gloves\, and instructions will be provided.
