Guests are encouraged to get creative with a variety of special photo events to help support local causes\, including: \nSanta Paws Pet Nights (12/5\, 12/12\, 12/19\, from 4pm – 7pm)\nBring your pet along for a photo with Santa and help us collect donations on behalf of The Humane Society. \nPajama Party (Every Tuesday\, all day)\nWear your coziest holiday pjs for your photo with Santa and help us support St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.  \nUgly Sweater Days (Every Thursday\, all day)\nMake it the most ugly time of year by wearing your ugliest holiday sweater for your photo with Santa.  \nWalk-ups are allowed\, but space is limited. DESCRIPTION:Riverton Park is slowly being taken over by invasive English ivy and holly. But together\, we can fight back and preserve this beautiful wooded oasis. Join Forest Steward\, Debbie for a mid-week work party inside the park. This is a great opportunity to learn new valuable forestry skills while also engaging with the larger community.  \nThis is very much a hands-on experience\, so be sure to come prepared. Bring a full water bottle\, snacks\, weather appropriate clothes\, closed-toed shoes\, and a pair of garden gloves if you have them. All other tools and materials will be provided. And be sure to show up on time for a quick training session.  \nMeeting Instructions\nWork parties are taking place next to the Gully Gardens P-Patch on the lower section of the park. You will see a 6ft toolbox (JOBOX) meet there.
