I know what you’re thinking, but no, there aren’t orcas in the Green-Duwamish river. However there are orcas just down the way in the Puget Sound and they rely heavily on the health of our rivers and the salmon that spawn there. So we invite you to join your favorite pod of land orcas, The Seattle Seawolves, for a day of clean-up along the Green-Duwamish river. Activities include presentations from community leaders and experts, hands-on habitat restoration, and booths from community organizations.
