On Sunday, October 27, see the Museum of Flight transformed into the Museum of FRIGHT, a family fun Halloween event suitable for all ages. Across the museum galleries, you’ll find Halloween-themed games and activities to spark imagination, innovation, and get into the Halloween spirit! 

Costumes are (of course) encouraged, but please make sure they follow the museum’s costume policy.

Some of the activities occurring throughout the day include: 

• • Day of the Dead Community Ofrenda — Help us build our Community Ofrenda in the Alaska Airlines Aerospace Education Center to honor those who have passed and in celebration of Día de Muertos. You can color your own sugar skull, create your own “Papel Picado” and learn about Latinos/as/es in aerospace.
  • Family Craft Activities — Freaky face painting, family workshop, mysterious math with the Seattle Universal Math Museum, spooky crafting table, perilous pin design with Tomato Tomato Creative
  • Meet ‘N Greet with Peanuts — Meet Melanie Kohn, one of the voice actors for Lucy van Pelt. Kohn voiced Lucy between 1974 and 1977 in Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown, It’s a Mystery, Charlie Brown, It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown, You’re a Good Sport, Charlie Brown, and the full-length feature film Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown.
  • Tales From The Quonset Hut: Spooky WWII Stories
  • Mad Scientists Dry Ice And Electricity Booths

All activities are FREE with Museum membership and included with general admission.
