Join Green Tukwila for some Riverside Restoration off the Green River Trail on September 9th. Invasive plants such as Himalayan Blackberry, ivy, and Bindweed are hindering young native trees and understory plants from growing. You’ll be helping to remove the invasive plants, allowing our native trees and shrubs to flourish. All ages are welcome, but children 14 and under must be accompanied at all times. Make sure you bring a full water bottle, snacks, gardening gloves if you have them, and closed-toe shoes. You’ll want to wear clothes to cover your arms and legs as well, since blackberries can be scratchy. Register now to join the event.
