The Ballad of Freddie Ohr

November 5 at 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

On November 5th, Seattle-based actor Minki Bai presents The Ballad of Freddie Ohr at the Museum of Flight, a solo performance depicting the experiences of Fred Ohr, who during World War II became the first and only Korean American flying ace. The story of this decorated flyer is based upon interviews with Ohr and inspired by American folk songs. The play details Ohr’s pursuit of his dream to fly despite a rough childhood in the Idaho countryside, racial discrimination, and German air attacks.

Two Performances: 6:00 PM & 7:30 PM

The program is free and is part of the Museum of Flight’s Free First Thursday on Thursday, November 5, 2026.
