Green Tukwila Watershed Workshops with Nature Vision
March 18 - April 8

Green Tukwila is partnering with Nature Vision to offer engaging, hands-on adult education workshops exploring the watershed and environmental systems that shape our community. Join us to learn how Tukwila’s local watershed works, why it matters, and how everyday choices can help protect it. A light lunch is provided at noon for each session.
These workshops are ideal for adults interested in sustainability, environmental stewardship, and learning more about the natural systems that support life in Tukwila. Come enjoy lunch, connect with neighbors, and deepen your understanding of the place we all call home.
🌿 Watershed Ecosystems with Nature Vision
March 18 | 12:00–2:00 PM
Light lunch provided at 12:00 PM
We all live in a watershed, and it’s up to us to help keep the water that flows through it clean and plentiful. This workshop introduces participants to Tukwila’s local watershed and the plants and animals that share this vital ecosystem.
You’ll learn how healthy environments naturally filter and clean water, explore how human activity impacts these systems, and discuss practical, positive actions that support both natural and built environments.
💧 Watershed Dynamics with Nature Vision
April 8 | 12:00–2:00 PM
Light lunch provided at 12:00 PM
In this interactive session, participants will use an Enviroscape tabletop model of a typical community to see how everyday decisions affect local water quality. Through guided discussion and hands-on demonstration, you’ll explore strategies to prevent watershed contamination and protect Tukwila’s waterways for future generations.
