Litter Clean-Up Party at the Green River Trail

Adopt-A-Spot stewards and Tukwila Parks staff have noticed some locations need community love to keep litter out of our river, green spaces, and parks. Join stewards and parks staff for a good time and a litter clean-up along the Green River Trail at Bicentennial Park.

Duwamish Valley History Ride with Cascade Bicycle Club

Fort Dent Park 6800 Fort Dent Way, Tukwila, WA, WA

Join the Cascade Bicycle Club for a leisurely bike ride to visit and learn facts about various historic and interesting sites in the Duwamish Valley and around the Duwamish River. The route covers approximately 28 miles and is relatively flat. There are a total of 12 stops on this ride during which the ride leader will give some details about the history and geography of the area.

Help us celebrate the Green Tukwila Partnership's annual Green Tukwila Day. The Green Tukwila Partnership works to restore Tukwila’s parks and urban forests for future generations – and they could use your help! Volunteers will learn about healthy forests, help remove invasive ivy and blackberry bushes, and plant native trees and shrubs at Tukwila Park.

Join Green Tukwila to help protect native habitat while having a great time outside!  Duwamish Hill Preserve is kicking off 2022 with a Saturday work party, March 19th, 10am -1 pm. Local stewards need volunteers to help remove invasive plants and protect young native plants. All tools and education will be provided.

On the second Wednesday of the month, join Green Tukwila for restoration work parties at Tukwila's Riverton Park! Volunteers will help local stewards with tasks like removing invasive plants, cleaning up litter, and planting native plants. All tools and education will be provided. 

See You in the Park Summer Event Series

The place to be this summer is Tukwila parks. The “See You in the Park Series” hosted by Tukwila Parks turns these patches of grass into unforgettable social gatherings. Watch movies, listen to live music, play games, and hang out with dogs.
